Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Engineer is a sales professional who specializes in understanding all the technical aspects of our service stack and can explain them to potential customers. Duties include providing inputs to our services roadmap, detailed explanation of services and their relationship to one another to prospects and customers, and live demonstrations of our capabilities.


  • Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand their needs and requirements.
  • Propose solutions to existing and potential clients that address their needs and requirements.
  • Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain our services to customers.
  • Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
  • Ensures that customer needs are met.
  • Proposes improved or upgraded service offerings to customers and explains benefits of the changes.
  • Provides support to customers and resolves problems.
  • Prepares product orders and schedules deliveries.
  • Assists with research and development of new products and services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Broadly proficient in cybersecurity disciplines
  • Proficient in regulatory and best-practices compliance/security frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred.
  • Five or more years of related product or sales experience required.
  • Experience with selling cybersecurity and compliance services preferred
